Sara Ann Rolfes Interiors exists to prove to customers that interior design doesn’t have to be overwhelming, and that it should be just the opposite: refreshing, inspiring, and
a retreat from your everyday stress.
I am passionate about creating beautiful spaces that work and feel amazing to their users and residents. I want to connect people to their surroundings by uniquely combining who they are with natural, organic and repurposed materials that that add beauty and are significant to my clients and my mission of providing sustainable solutions.
I believe in taking the stress out of interior design and in changing people’s everyday state of mind.
I was born on the Charleston peninsula and I am passionate about designing sophisticated spaces that incorporate the rich colors, textures, and architecture of her projects history and natural surroundings.
My education at College of Charleston followed by an Interior Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City instilled a disciplined work ethic and fueled my inspiration for everything design. Following my education I was honored to work under Interior Design greats including Thom Filicia, Brad Ford, Juan Montoya, and Amelia Handegan. These amazing firms are where I honed my skills to develop all the layers of the design process, leading me to become the interior design problem solver I am today.
I love incorporating locally crafted pieces and artwork to bring unique, personalized touches to my client’s projects.
When not designing, I enjoy the adventure of life in the Lowcountry and beyond with my husband and daughters.
